Above: Classic Clash front cover from around the time of their first LP in 1977. Clash stories, meeting the Clash and Joe Strummer, tour posters, the famous Joe v Mick onstage fight on the London Calling tour and much more are featured in 'Our Generation' the book.

Above: Mid 1977 line up of Chelsea. Read about Rotherham Punk fan Paul Clarkson's introduction to Chelsea on a trip to London in early 1977 and an account of their Sheffield Marples gig scuffle and Gene October's tantrum in Our Generation
Above: A Record Mirror Penetration review by R.M scribe Jack Bowers - who is infact Paul Bower who produced Sheffield's very first Punk fanzine, was singer/guitarist with 2.3 and was important in getting the Human League signed up. Paul has contributed some fantastic stories from the days when he was writing for Gun-Rubber and making trips to the Roxy club in London, supporting numerous punk bands in 2.3 and blagging a support slot with the Stranglers etc...Penetration also feature in the book
Above: A sad but true occurence during the Punk era was the rivalry and outbreaks of violence between different youth cults. There are a fair share of accounts of being attacked by Teddy Boys, skinheads and Punk baiting straights told with great vigour and humour in Our Generation.
Above: Joy Division feature from 1978 and below another early articles. Joy Division influenced a good proportion of the local Punk crowd and fans speak about them in Our Generation
