Those 'Cute Pubes' of Rotherham - A journey through Punk 1978 - 1982
Work in progress!

One of the Punk era's greatly under-estimated and vastly talented songsmiths were Rotherham's 'Cute Pubes'. If these guys had been heard by the boys in the know... they would have really made it: no shadow of a doubt. From very child-like (literaly) and humble beginnings of Punk innocence they kicked off as PVC (No relation at all to Midge Ure's pre-Rich Kids Punk version of Slik - PVC2) hammering away with high pitched vocals Punkarama - often mere seconds lasting bashes - penning their own original songs... but very swiftly learning to play their instruments and creating a sound all of their own.
